Looking Back on the Corporate Retreat at Manoir Davis

A memorable stay in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

From April 6th to 8th 2025,

, the team gathered in the charming setting of the Laurentians for an unforgettable corporate retreat at the majestic Manoir Davis in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. This historic setting, surrounded by peaceful mountains and forests still vibrant with spring, welcomed our group for a few days of sharing, reflection, and camaraderie.

A remarkable feature this year was the full team. Even members who are usually remote and colleagues residing elsewhere in Canada were able to join us, taking advantage of the opportunity to strengthen ties in person. This exceptional presence contributed to an even richer dynamic, with each member bringing their perspective and energy to the entire group.

From the moment we arrived, the enthusiasm was palpable. Participants, from all walks of life within the company, had a chance to connect not only with their colleagues, but also with themselves, in an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and creativity. Manoir Davis, renowned for its hospitality and enchanting setting, proved to be the ideal place to foster team cohesion and nurture collective intelligence.

The number of participants quickly exceeded Manoir Davis’s capacity. Fortunately, Manoir Stonehaven, located next door, opened its doors to those who couldn’t find a place at the main Manor. This proximity ensured that the group’s energy remained intact while providing each member with optimal comfort.

Throughout the days, collaborative workshops, inspiring work sessions, and revitalizing activities took place, punctuated by gourmet breaks and informal moments of sharing. Lively discussions around the year’s objectives, upcoming initiatives, and the organization’s values strengthened everyone’s sense of belonging and motivation.

The evenings, enlivened by games and a few secrets, helped to forge even stronger bonds. Many people took advantage of the exceptional natural setting to simply admire the panorama from the Manoir terrace.

In short, this corporate retreat was memorable for its conviviality, the richness of its discussions, and the beauty of the setting. Far from being an obstacle, the visit to two Manoirs added a touch of adventure and flexibility to the experience. There’s no doubt that the ideas that emerged during these three days will continue to drive the organization forward throughout the year.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, as well as to the teams at Manoir Davis and Manoir Stonehaven for their warm welcome and professionalism. A date has already been set for the next edition!
